HAVEN (2015-2022)

a meditation on spaces of intimacy, on friendship before it became boundaried, on moving from away from the dream towards the daydream:

we need the mellowness and imprecision of the inner life, we need to go beyond the memory, further back into the daydream, to the hollow of the flower, to recall our lives in the house that is gone -

what happens when our dreams go back so far into some place undefined? when clear memories of our childhood home appear detached from us? Our daydreaming is unsettled - we begin to doubt that we ever lived where we lived. it’s as if our past is situated elsewhere. everything is impregnanted with a sense of unreality.
